The Basilicata University (Italy) and Telespazio have signed a Joint Agreement paper for mutual cooperation with the objective of the development of important research and educational projects in the field of tele-monitoring, thus allowing wider usage of modern techniques and scientific information for the environmental monitoring. Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis said the first of Malaysia??s five near equatorial orbit satellites would be launched early 2006 from somewhere in the Pacific Ocean (Credits The Edge Daily)|
ESA’s GOCE gravity mission has recovered from a glitch that prevented the satellite from sending its flow of scientific data to the ground. News of the recovery comes earlier than expected, thanks to the fervent efforts of a team of experts.
