Deimos Space

DEIMOS Space is a private Spanish company operating in aerospace activities. It was founded in 2001 by 24 professionals with more than 200 years of accumulated experience in the space sector. DEIMOS Space is integrated into the ELECNOR group of subsidiaries, and the shares of DEIMOS Space are held by its founders and private investors.

DEIMOS Space is part of the DEIMOS Group, together with DEIMOS Engenharia (established in September 2002 in Portugal), and DEIMOS Aplicaciones Tecnol?ıgicas ?± DAT (founded in 2005).

The high motivation and interest for space project of DEIMOS staff, and their high level of experience, has allowed a growth of the company that is currently employing a staff of about 200 people, more than 120 of them allocated to technical activities in ESA projects and on-site support.

DEIMOS is demonstrating technical, management and financial capacity for the execution of different type and size of projects, from engineering studies to the development of Ground Segment SW facilities, Real Time SW development and on-board SW validation.

The target areas for DEIMOS within the space sector include the following areas in which the staff have proven track records and enviable international reputations:

- Mission analysis and orbital mechanics
– Space engineering – On-board software and real-time systems – Data processing – Satellite navigation systems
